I took this photo mostly on account of it being the perfect space to utilize my wide-angle lens. I was having a ball on this trip with my new camera, with lots of ISO settings, and especially the 10-22 mm wide-angle lens I rented, knowing I’d be wanting to photograph lots of large architecture in Europe.
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Processing: Post-processing was minimal – using Lightroom, I upped the exposure a few stops, toned down the yellow hue the interior lighting produced, and increased the clarity. Probably the primary accomplishment of this photo was the patience it took to snag a shot when nobody was wandering through the space… with such a wide angle, this is even more difficult to accomplish in a popular tourist site!
